As a Telecaller in a hospital setting, your primary responsibility is to engage with patients, potential patients, and other stakeholders over the phone to provide information, assistance, and support related to healthcare services offered by the hospital. Your role is crucial in creating a positive and helpful first impression of the hospital and ensuring a smooth experience for callers.
Key Responsibilities:
- **Patient Inquiry Handling**: Respond to incoming calls from patients or their representatives regarding inquiries about hospital services, appointment scheduling, treatment procedures, medical queries, insurance coverage, and general information about the hospital.
- **Appointment Scheduling**: Efficiently manage appointment bookings by coordinating with various departments and ensuring the availability of doctors and resources. Utilize the hospital's appointment scheduling system to book, reschedule, or cancel appointments as required.
- **Patient Education**: Provide accurate information to patients regarding pre
- and post-treatment instructions, medical tests, hospital policies, and other relevant information to ensure they are well-informed about their healthcare journey.
- **Follow-up Calls**: Conduct follow-up calls with patients to gather feedback on their experience, confirm upcoming appointments, remind them of pending tests or procedures, and address any concerns or queries they may have.
- **Handling Complaints and Queries**: Address patient complaints, concerns, or queries promptly and professionally, escalating complex issues to the appropriate department or supervisor when necessary, and ensuring timely resolution.
- **Database Management**: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient interactions, appointment schedules, inquiries, and other relevant information using the hospital's CRM or database management system.
- **Collaboration**: Collaborate effectively with other departments such as billing, medical records, nursing, and front desk staff to ensure seamless patient care coordination and resolution of inquiries.
- **Promotion and Marketing**: Assist in promoting hospital services, health campaigns, and special events by providing relevant information to callers and encouraging participation or attendance when appropriate.
- **Compliance**: Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements related to patient confidentiality, data protection, and telecommunication standards.
- **Continuous Improvement**: Actively participate in training sessions, workshops, and performance evaluations to enhance your skills, knowledge, and efficiency in handling telephonic interactions and providing exceptional customer service.
**Salary**: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
