Job Summary:
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine and specialized tests in hematology and biochemistry, ensuring accuracy and timely results.

Collect and process patient samples (blood, urine, etc.) while maintaining proper labeling and documentation.

Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory testing machines and equipment.

Follow established protocols and safety guidelines to handle samples and chemicals.

Analyze test results, report findings, and communicate with healthcare professionals for further diagnosis and treatment.

Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality and compliance with privacy regulations.

Manage inventory and ensure the availability of necessary supplies for laboratory operations.

Provide excellent patient care by assisting with sample collection, addressing patient inquiries, and maintaining a professional and empathetic demeanor.

Ensure cleanliness and organization of the lab environment and adhere to health and safety standards.

Qualifications:
1-3 years of experience in a clinical laboratory, focusing on hematology and biochemistry.

Proficient in using laboratory equipment, including automated analyzers and microscopes.

Strong knowledge of hematology and biochemistry test procedures and protocols.

Ability to collect and process patient samples efficiently.

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in test results and documentation.

Good understanding of laboratory safety and infection control procedures.

Strong communication skills, including patient interaction and teamwork.

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Certification or degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or a related field is preferred.

Additional Skills:
Familiarity with laboratory information management systems (LIMS) is a plus.

Knowledge of patient care and handling techniques.
