**Role Overview**:
The Associate Payables Finance will be responsible for supporting the accounts payable processes, ensuring accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices, payments, and reconciliations. The role requires strong attention to detail, good communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

**Responsibilities**
- Process vendor invoices and ensure proper documentation and approvals.
- Perform 3-way matching of invoices with purchase orders and goods receipts.
- Review and verify invoice accuracy, coding, and compliance with company policies.
- Coordinate with internal departments and vendors to resolve invoice discrepancies or payment issues.
- Prepare and process payment batches (cheques, electronic transfers, and wire transfers).
- Assist with monthly closing activities related to accounts payable.
- Reconcile vendor statements and follow up on any discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of invoices, payments, and correspondence.
- Support internal and external audit requirements.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and assist in implementation.
