**Role Description**

The Information Security Analyst is responsible for supporting the execution of the Information Security strategy. The Information Security Analyst provides data and analysis to measure the effectiveness of Information Security controls across group wide products and services. The Information Security Analyst identifies and evaluates potential areas of Information Security threats by assessing the probability and impact, and facilitates feedback for mitigation.
Roles within Information Security may cover one or more areas of speciality, e.g. Identity & Access Management (which may include, for example, authentication; access management & control; recertification etc.); Information Security (“IS”) Operations (which may for example include, cyber threat operations; cyber forensics, protection against data leakage etc.) and IS Technology (which may include IS architecture, IS engineering, cryptographic services etc.)

**Your Key **Responsibilities**
- The CTO Security Engineering organization is responsible for delivering technical solutions that keep Deutsche Bank's Information Assets secure. The organization provides control solutions for the infrastructure security architecture across the bank and adapts a rich set of security solutions to arising customer and regulatory needs.
- As part of this mission, the AEGIS Program will protect sensitive information through Database Encryption and protects the confidentiality of the bank’s information assets and the information of the bank’s clients.
- The AEGIS Junior Architect will be responsible for creation and maintaining architectural artifacts for the AEGIS encryption and key management solutions. They will require an in depth knowledge of encryption and key management which additionally will enable them to assist with trouble shooting issues and proposing enhancements and modifications to the solutions to benefit the organization.
- A degree-level education (or equivalent) in a technology related discipline is preferred, along with significant and in-depth experience of database encryption and key management. Highly effective communication and management skills are a must, as are English language skills to business standard.
- This role requires excellent collaboration skills and the ability to work with other Group CIO teams supporting the AEGIS infrastructure.
- Also required are effective presentation skills and an ability to explain technical concepts in an understandable way. Furthermore, an ability to elucidate the benefits of protecting information and preventing data leakage, whilst providing solid justifications for technology spend.

**Your skills and experience**

**Technical Skills**:

- In-depth experience of database encryption and key management products and technologies.
- At least 5 years of solid IT Security experience preferred in the arena of encryption and security engineering.
- Technology Certifications preferred (CISSP, CISM, and ITIL).

**Education**:

- Degree in Information Management or Computer Science.

**Experience Required**:

- At least 5 years technical hands-on experience with engineering Encryption and Key Management solutions in large multi-national commercial organizations
- Strong leadership capabilities and proven experience in managing technology teams with a mix of internal and external resources
- Experience managing outsourced/vendor teams
- The ability to work under pressure and deliver against strict deadlines. Highly self-motivated and able to prioritize tasks.
