**Position Overview**

Designs, fabricates and assembles jewellry products, participates in Bandara preparation and sales, daily studio sales; teamwork.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Design & Conceptualization**:

- Develop original jewelry designs incorporating pottery, ceramic, and mixed materials.
- Collaborate with the creative team to produce cohesive collections.
- Sketch and prototype ideas into tangible designs, refining them through feedback.
- **Production Oversight**:

- Lead the production process for ceramic jewelry, ensuring that designs meet both aesthetic and quality standards.
- Work closely with pottery experts, artisans, and other contractors to scale production as needed.
- Monitor and troubleshoot any production issues related to ceramics, glazes, firing, and assembling jewelry.
- **Material Sourcing & Testing**:

- Source and test clay, glazes, and other raw materials to ensure they meet design specifications.
- Experiment with different ceramic techniques (hand-building, wheel throwing, etc.) to create innovative jewelry pieces.
- **Quality Assurance**:

- Ensure all final products are of high quality, adhering to durability, finish, and consistency.
- Test pieces for wearability, especially concerning ceramic fragility and weight.
- **Collaboration**:

- Partner with the marketing team to provide insight into the design process for promotional materials.
- Communicate effectively with suppliers, production teams, and artisans.
- **Documentation & Reporting**:

- Maintain accurate records of production timelines, material usage, and costs.
- Prepare reports on project progress for the creative director and stakeholders.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Jewelry Design, Ceramic Arts, Fine Arts, or related fields preferred.
- Relevant certifications in pottery/ceramics or jewelry-making are a plus.
- **Experience**:

- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in jewelry design and production, with at least 2 years specializing in ceramics or pottery.
- Proven experience working with pottery materials such as clay and glazes, and familiarity with kiln-firing processes.
- **Skills**:

- Proficiency in design software (e.g., Rhino, Adobe Illustrator, AutoCAD) is desirable.
- Hands-on experience with ceramic techniques like molding, glazing, and kiln firing.
- Strong understanding of color theory, design principles, and jewelry construction.
- Good communication skills for working with teams and presenting ideas to stakeholders.

- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Contractual / Temporary

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹12,000.00 per month
