**Transport MIS Executive** A "Transport MIS Executive" is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and reporting on transportation data using management information systems (MIS) to provide insights and support decision-making within a logistics or transportation department, generating reports on vehicle utilization, delivery times, costs, and other key metrics, while ensuring data accuracy and timely delivery of information to relevant stakeholders; essentially acting as the data analyst for the transportation operations, utilizing tools like Excel and specialized transportation management systems to monitor and evaluate performance. - **Data Collection and Management**: - Gather data from various transportation systems, including vehicle tracking devices, delivery management software, and internal databases. - Ensure data quality and accuracy by performing data cleansing and validation processes. - Maintain and update transportation databases with relevant information. **Reporting and Analysis**: - Generate regular and ad-hoc reports on key transportation metrics like delivery performance, on-time delivery rates, fuel consumption, vehicle utilization, and cost analysis. - Create dashboards and visualizations to present complex transportation data in an easily understandable format for management. - Analyze transportation trends and identify areas for improvement. **System Administration**: - Monitor and maintain the transportation management system (TMS) to ensure smooth operation. - Identify and implement system upgrades or enhancements to improve data capture and analysis capabilities. **Performance Monitoring**: - Track driver performance metrics such as safety records, fuel efficiency, and adherence to delivery schedules. - Identify performance gaps and propose corrective actions to optimize transportation operations. **Collaboration**: - Work closely with the transportation team, including dispatchers, drivers, and logistics managers, to gather data and address operational issues. - Coordinate with other departments to ensure alignment with overall business objectives. **Required Skills**: - Data Analysis: Strong analytical skills to interpret large datasets and extract meaningful insights. - Technical Proficiency: Expertise in MS Excel, data visualization tools, and transportation management systems. - Reporting Skills: Ability to develop clear, concise, and visually appealing reports for different levels of management. - Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills to effectively convey data analysis findings to stakeholders. - Problem-Solving: Ability to identify issues within transportation operations and propose solutions based on data analysis. - Microsoft Excel (V-LOOKUP, Filter, Pivot Table, Formulas) Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹17,000.00 per month **Benefits**: - Provident Fund Schedule: - Day shift Supplemental Pay: - Yearly bonus Work Location: In person
