Commodity Manager (Mobility Services) Organization: Procurement Country/ Location: India / Mumbai Position Type: Professional & Expert Job Family: SCM-Procurement / Logistics Sub Job Family: Procurement **Mission / Position Headline**: Responsibility for procurement for Commodity - Mobility Services for Lead Country India for a total Purchasing Volume (PVO) of approx. 400~ 500 Crores / Anum Organization, controlling and measuring of Pooling and Procurement activities in a functionally managed team, responsibility with the objective of establishing optimum conditions on an excellent supplier base. **Internal / External Contacts**: Functional: Global Category / Commodity Managers; India Procurement Team Stakeholders: Departments Heads / CXOs Offices / Travelers / Marcom / Communication Team External: Vendors, Service Providers, Consultants **Education**: Post Graduation in Management and/or Graduate in Engineering **Experience**: Procurement Experience of 10~15 Years and at least 5+ years of relevant managing end-to-end travel experience (Air Ticking, Hotels, Cars, Events, Gifting, Marcom) at the Large Corporate Structure Level. **Areas of Responsibility**: 1. Supplier Management **Job-Specific Expectations**: - Managing End to End Travel commodities for Siemens in India PVO 50 Mil Euro and 15k+ Stakeholders including operations, tools, virtual platforms, and program development. - Managing the Travel Management Company (TMC) for local topics/expectations - Leading Negotiation & contracting with Airlines / Hotels for best rates/services. - Managing corporate events with Stakeholders, Hotels, Events Organising Companies - Managing / Contracting for Buses / Cabs for all Siemens Factories and employees - Managing the leased cars / Drivers for Expats. - Managing Corporate Credit Card with Support for HR - Data Analytics on Travel Behaviour and working with businesses to reduce expenditures by choosing the optimum mean on travel/stay. - Drive Sustainability Targets for Mobility Services commodities **Skills and Knowledge**: - Has profound knowledge and broad experience. Analyses, interprets, structures, and presents extensive and/or complex data and information on the topic. - Independently drafts and negotiates complex contracts (in alignment with Legal) and knows the consequences of all clauses. Understands the differences between the most important legal aspects. Has comprehensive working knowledge of the exception/approval process. - Knows the cost structure of one's own commodity in detail and leverages improvement potentials. Calculates and compares the cost line of supplier offers as decision criteria for optimal ANC/e-Auction designs. Minimizes the suppliers´ cost by putting of relevant instruments and levers (technical and commercial) to good use. - Provides a detailed analysis of a complex demand structure within its own material field regarding quantitative and qualitative aspects. Provides cross-functions a detailed market analysis in context to the economic cycle, explaining the market development and discussing possible future scenarios. Recognizes long-term market and technology trends. Generates a - comprehensive analysis of the relevant suppliers, their situations (capacities, innovations, technology trends, economic situation), and their business models. Systematically breaks multidimensional situations into parts. Uses several analytical techniques to identify solutions and weighs the value of each. - Identifies and implements measures to ensure suppliers' compliance with the requirements of the Code of Conduct and Include social and environmental factors in the sourcing strategy as part of supplier selection criteria. Is seen as a Sustainability orchestrator inside and outside - of his/her organization.
