Associate - Edi DevOps

Summary of Position:
The work includes:

- Identifying and analyzing business needs, conducting requirements gathering, and defining scope and objectives for the IT System
- Developing programming specifications, diagrams, and flowcharts
- Writing code in lower-level programming languages to optimize the performance and efficiency of an organization’s IT platform/infrastructure -Configuring, customizing, diagnosing, and enhancing vendor systems software (e.g., operating systems software and utilities that manage access to peripherals, facilitate networking, manage memory allocation, manage file storage on hard drives, etc.)
- Writing diagnostic programs to test integrated software/hardware systems and resolve system faults
- Creating functional and technical documentation of systems software programs and code

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop, build, configure and unit test solutions from low level designs
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
- Ensure that solutions meet requirements outlined in the design documentation
- Perform all work to agreed time, cost and quality constraints
- Ensure that developed solutions are peer reviewed and formally documented.
- Unit test solutions to ensure they meet quality standard
- Work with external partners to establish AS2 or SFTP connectivity
- Familiarity with UNIX scripts, database technologies such as ORACLE or MSSQL
- Knowledge of EDI standards and SAP IDOCs
- Work on EDI Projects and EDI Operations using DevOps model
- Familiarity with ticketing tool such as Service Now
- Familiarity with Scrum and Sprint
- Flexible enough to take up weekend support activities as required
- Collaborate with regional teams
- Ready to take up any challenging assignments such as owning platform maintenance and activities
- Ensure quality through unit and functional test implementation and execution.
- Participate in and contribute to all phases of the SDLC, including working with DevOps teams to develop end-to-end testing of the solutions and ensure proper monitoring and alerting of the solution.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with technical/non-technical stakeholders to gather and understand the requirements
- Work with Business Analysts/Project Manager /IT Leads and other stakeholders to understand requirements and help the team establish a technical approach to delivering features that is in line with architectural norms and best practice
- Knowledge of Sterling B2B Integrator is desirable

Key Requirements/Minimum Qualifications:
**Education**:

- Min Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science

**Experience**:

- 1+ years of experience in IT desirable

Language

The ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English fluently. Other languages a plus.

Work hours: 1 PM to 10 PM IST
