**Job Summary**:
The Art Technician provides technical and administrative support to the Art Department, ensuring the smooth running of practical lessons, workshops, and exhibitions. They support students and staff by preparing materials, maintaining equipment, and ensuring a safe and organised working environment.
- Help prepare, set up, and organise materials, tools, and equipment for lessons across Junior and High School, including IB Art.
- Ensure adequate stock of art materials and order supplies as required.
- Maintain and clean tools, brushes, printmaking equipment, and digital devices.
- Oversee the use of cameras, printers, and digital screens in the Media Lab
- Ensure kilns and other specialist equipment are maintained and used safely.
- Ensure safe storage and disposal of hazardous materials such as paints, solvents, and clay.
- Assist in setting up exhibitions, Open Days, and student showcases.
- Create visual displays of student work in classrooms, corridors, and digital galleries.
- Maintain an inventory of supplies and manage orders with the procurement team.
- Assist with organising student work, digital files, and portfolios.

**Person Specification**

**Essential**:

- Preferred but not essential: a qualification or background in Art, Design, or a related field.
- Organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Understanding of **health and safety regulations** related to Art classrooms
- A qualification or background in Art, Design, or a related field.

**Preferred**:

- Experience with kiln operation, ceramics, or printmaking.

Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
