**Job Title: Commercial Chef**

**Location**: Vashi

**Job Type**: Full-time (12-hour shifts)

**Responsibilities**:

- **Ordering & Inventory**:

- Manage the ordering and inventory of kitchen supplies (e.g., smallwares, cleaning supplies), dining amenities (e.g., linens, tableware, condiments), and potentially other operational necessities.
- Liaise with various suppliers to obtain quotes, place orders, and ensure timely delivery.
- Track inventory levels and proactively anticipate needs to prevent shortages.
- Organize and maintain storage areas for all ordered items.
- **Kitchen Support**:

- Assist the Head Chef and kitchen staff with basic organizational tasks.
- Potentially assist with some basic food preparation tasks as needed (depending on experience and qualifications).
- Ensure the kitchen and storage areas are clean and well-organized.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs.
- **Cost Management**:

- Obtain competitive pricing from suppliers and track expenses.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings in procurement.
- Maintain accurate records of orders and deliveries.
- **Communication & Coordination**:

- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, front-of-house, and management regarding inventory and supply needs.
- Coordinate with delivery personnel.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience in a support role within a food service environment or in procurement/inventory management.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic understanding of kitchen operations and supplies.
