Assistant Sales Operations

We are looking for Assistant Sales Operations for our esteemed Organisation. This role plays a crucial role in supporting the sales team by ensuring the smooth operation of daily sales activities. This role involves assisting with the analysis, reporting, and coordination of sales efforts to ensure goals and targets are met efficiently. The Assistant Sales Operations will also collaborate with other departments to improve sales processes and customer experience.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Sales Support & Coordination**:
- Assist in the day-to-day operations of the sales department.
- Coordinate and facilitate communication between the sales team and other departments (e.g., marketing, finance).
- Help manage sales schedules and sales-related documentation.
- **Data Analysis & Reporting**:
- Compile and analyze sales data to provide reports on sales performance and trends.
- Track sales performance against targets, identifying areas for improvement.
- Assist in preparing forecasts and reports for management.
- **Sales Process Improvement**:
- Assist in identifying inefficiencies in sales processes and suggest improvements.
- Help implement new sales tools or systems to increase team productivity.
- Maintain and improve sales tracking systems, ensuring accurate and up-to-date data.
- **CRM & Database Management**:
- Manage the customer relationship management (CRM) system to ensure accurate data entry.
- Assist in maintaining the integrity of sales and customer data.
- Monitor and update customer accounts and contact information as needed.
- **Sales Documentation**:
- Prepare and maintain sales contracts, proposals, and other documentation.
- Ensure that all necessary sales materials are available to the sales team.
- Assist in the processing of sales orders and manage the order-to-cash process.
- **Cross-functional Collaboration**:
- Work closely with the marketing team to align sales strategies and campaigns.
- Support the finance team with sales-related billing and invoicing.
- Collaborate with customer service to ensure smooth order fulfillment and resolution of customer issues.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Previous experience in sales operations, sales support, or a similar role (1-2 years preferred).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce).
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Analytical mindset and ability to work with large data sets.
