Steward Job Description

**Job Summary**:
Cravin' by Andy - The Pantry is looking for an enthusiastic and dependable Cafe Steward to join our front-of-house team. As a Cafe Steward, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth daily operations and providing an exceptional guest experience. You will be responsible for maintaining a welcoming and clean environment, assisting guests, and supporting the team with various operational tasks.

**Responsibilities**:
**Guest Service**:

- Greet guests with a positive and friendly attitude.
- Assist guests with seating arrangements.
- Serve water and other initial refreshments.
- Present menus to customers and answer basic queries.
- Refill glasses and clear empty plates promptly.
- Assist the serving staff in delivering food and beverages to tables.
- Address guest concerns and escalate complex issues to the Manager/Supervisor.
- Maintain a customer-centric approach at all times.
- **Dining Area Maintenance**:

- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the dining space, including tables, chairs, and floors.
- Set up tables with clean tablecloths, napkins, cutlery, and other necessary items before service.
- Clear and reset tables quickly and efficiently after guests depart.
- Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of side stations and service areas.
- Arrange and replenish condiments, sugar bowls, and other table essentials.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the Cafe Manager or Supervisor to ensure efficient operations.
- **Hygiene and Safety**:

- Adhere to all hygiene and sanitation standards.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of food and beverage items.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
- Report any spills or hazards immediately.
- **Team Collaboration**:

- Work closely and collaboratively with other front-of-house and back-of-house team members.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues to ensure seamless service.
- Support team efforts to achieve overall cafe goals.

Pay: ₹13,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
