**JOB DESCRIPTION**

Tableau Admin

**Experience**:5 - 9 years

**Locations**:Chennai, Pune, Bangalore, Mumbai, Hyderabad

The Tableau Systems Administrator will be responsible for the maintenance, operation, and support of Tableau software within the organization. The Systems Administrator will collaborate with business users, software developers, and other stakeholders to ensure the effective and efficient operation of Tableau software.

Primary

**Responsibilities**:

- Configure, manage, and maintain Tableau software.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Tableau software.
- Monitor system performance and usage, and provide performance tuning and optimization.
- Implement patching and upgrades in a timely manner.
- Develop strategies and plans for Tableau software deployment and operation.
- Develop and maintain user documentation and support materials.
- Work with stakeholders to define and implement Tableau software requirements.
- Provide guidance and training to Tableau software users.
- Assist in developing and administering Tableau security procedures.
- Develop and manage Tableau system reporting systems and dashboards.
- Monitor system performance and provide performance tuning and optimization.
- Develop and maintain Tableau system documentation.
- Develop and maintain Tableau system policies and procedures.
- Develop and maintain Tableau system backup and recovery procedures.
- Maintain and update system configuration and settings.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.
- 6 to 8 years of experience in Tableau administration and related fields.
- Advanced knowledge of Tableau software and related products.
- Experience with SQL and database management.
- Knowledge of Windows and Unix/Linux operating systems.
- Experience with security protocols, authentication systems, and encryption technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
