Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled Tableau Admin to provide advanced expertise in the administration, configuration, and support of Tableau Cloud infrastructure. You will be responsible for monitoring system performance, implementing optimizations, executing strategic architectural visions, and ensuring data security and compliance. This role involves assisting clients with data platform migrations, providing technical support, conducting training, and integrating Tableau with various cloud data sources. Roles & Responsibilities: - Provide advanced expertise for the administration, configuration, and support of Tableau Cloud infrastructure management. - Monitor system performance and implement optimizations to enhance reliability and scalability. - Articulate, define, and execute a strategic vision for proposed architecture. - Implement and maintain security protocols to protect data within Tableau. - Ensure compliance with industry standards and organizational policies. - Assist clients with migrating from legacy to modern data platforms. - Provide technical support to Tableau users, addressing issues related to cloud connectivity and data access. - Conduct training sessions to enhance user proficiency with Tableau tools and features. - Regularly monitor the performance of Tableau dashboards and reports. - Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks to ensure optimal user experience. - Integrate Tableau with various cloud data sources. - Automate ETL processes to streamline data flow and improve efficiency. - Develop and enforce standards in Tableau and development best practices. Skills Required: - Advanced expertise in the administration, configuration, and support of Tableau Cloud infrastructure. - Proficiency in monitoring system performance and implementing optimizations. - Ability to articulate, define, and execute a strategic vision for proposed architecture. - Experience in implementing and maintaining security protocols for data within Tableau. - Strong understanding of compliance with industry standards and organizational policies. - Ability to assist clients with migrating from legacy to modern data platforms. - Experience providing technical support to Tableau users, addressing issues related to cloud connectivity and data access. - Proven ability to conduct training sessions to enhance user proficiency with Tableau tools and features. - Strong skills in monitoring the performance of Tableau dashboards and reports and identifying performance bottlenecks. - Expertise in integrating Tableau with various cloud data sources. - Ability to automate ETL processes. - Experience developing and enforcing standards in Tableau and development best practices. - Experience with Tableau Desktop and Tableau Prep. - Expertise in dashboard and data visualization design. - Advanced skills in data analysis and data discovery. QUALIFICATION: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
