We are looking for a Procurement Associate to whose Job will be to ensure supply of all the indented materials at the right time with the expected specifications to the Production Department so that all our production operate smoothly and does not experience any delay due to non availability of the indented materials. You will review prices and quality and ensure optimal stock levels at any point of time. Your responsibilities will include evaluating vendors, negotiating contracts and ensuring the right materials with the correct specifications are delivered to the department at the right time.

Required Qualification

Science/ Commerce Graduates from any reputed university with 2 to 3 years’ experience in procurement/supply chain based position at any reputed organisation/ institute /R&D organization.

Desired Qualification
- Experience of working as Purchase Assistant/ Agent or similar role in a chemical or agro industry.
- Brief understanding of supply chain procedures
- Hands on experience with latest purchase software
- Solid analytical skills and ability to conduct cost analysis.
- Good knowledge of vendor sourcing practices (researching, evaluating & liaising with vendors)
- Good Negotiating Skills.

**Job Description**:

- Research potential vendors
- Compare and evaluate offers from suppliers
- Negotiate contract terms of agreement and pricing
- Track orders and ensure timely delivery
- Review quality of purchased products
- Enter order details (e.g. vendors, quantities, prices) into internal databases
- Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information and invoices
- Prepare reports on purchases, including Budgets & cost analyses
- Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed
- Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure proper storage
- Following all the guidelines as and when they are provided.
- Observing high health and safety standards.
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Store Management.
