Procurement Associate

This role has been designated as ‘Edge’, which means you will primarily work outside of an HPE office.

**Responsibilities**:

- Coordinate with internal and cross-functional team to resolve customer and supplier issues
- Supports multiple procurement tools and processes
- Supports the implementation of new corporate-wide procurement processes and systems
- Proactively identifies opportunities for improvements and makes recommendations
- Handles complex situations and multiple responsibilities simultaneously with a sense of urgency
- Contribute to developing, implement maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures to ensure compliance with procurement and other HPE policies.

**Education and Experience Required**:
First-level university degree or equivalent experience; advanced university degree added advantage

Typically 1-3 years of experience in procurement or supply chain with customer service background

**Knowledge and Skills**:

- Excellent communication skills both written and Oral
- Excellent customer service skills
- Judgment/Problem Solving: Ability to understand and analyze the problem and come up with an effective resolution
- Knowledge of Procurement Applications and Processes like Ariba, Source2Contract, SmartLabor, etc.
- Strong teamwork and basic leadership skills; basic influencing skills
- Applies cause and effect thinking to identify common contract risk areas
- Ability to provide a delightful customers experience
- Good understanding of the company's business units and the procurement operations strategy.
