**Scope of Work: -**

1.Handling Purchase & Sub-contracts

2.Communicating with Customers & Suppliers on payments.

3.Supporting the functional needs of production/maintenance.

4.Suppliers Assessments

5.Suppliers Rating.

6.Maintaining documents & records.

7.Forwarding NCR’s on Supplier for rejection & defects.

8.Rate negotiation on purchases.

9.Seek alternate & new suppliers pertaining to purchase

10.Procure good quality Personnel protective equipments and preferably conforming to ISI standards.

11.Procure critical Safety equipments on priority.

12.Communicate to suppliers/customers requirements with ESHQ

13.Managing the purchase process.

14.Giving commitments to customers & maintaining them.

15.Checking vendor invoices against POs.

16.Monitoring due dates to ensure **payments** are made on time.

17.Entering invoice and other details in records.

18.Preparing cheques and **payment** advices to banks.

**Authority : -**

1. Select the vendor pertaining to purchase.

2. Plan & purchase material from the suppliers.

3. Meet suppliers & negotiation for rates with suppliers

4. Take appropriate decision in case of reject / defect or quality problems.

5.Carryout supplier’s audit.

**Desirable qualification : -**

1.BCom Graduate

2.Minimum 3 years experience in purchase
