Set up lathe machines by selecting the proper tools, attachments, and machine settings according to work orders.
- Align and secure materials on the machine to ensure accuracy and stability during operation.
- Operate manual or CNC (Computer Numerical Control) lathes to cut, shape, and finish raw materials (like metals, plastics, or wood) into specific dimensions and tolerances.
- Control the machine’s speed, feed rates, and depth of cut to achieve desired outcomes.
- Inspect finished products for quality and precision, using tools like micrometers, calipers, or gauges.
- Ensure that all parts are machined according to the technical specifications, blueprints, or CAD designs.
- Perform routine maintenance on lathe machines to keep them in good working condition, such as cleaning and lubricating moving parts.
- Troubleshoot and address minor machine issues to prevent downtime.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols to avoid accidents, ensuring safe handling of machines and materials.
- Wear protective equipment like goggles, gloves, and hearing protection.
- Maintain records of machine operations, including production logs, maintenance activities, and any issues encountered during the machining process.
- Work with engineers, supervisors, or other technicians to discuss design specifications, adjustments, or improvements to the machining process.
- Safely handle and load raw materials onto the machine, ensuring proper clamping or securing of parts for machining.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
