**Job Title - Safety Officer**

**Job Purpose**:
To ensure workplace safety by implementing safety procedures, conducting risk assessments, and promoting a safe working environment for all site personnel, in compliance with statutory and organizational regulations.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Implement and enforce safety policies and procedures at the site.
- Conduct regular safety inspections, risk assessments, and audits.
- Identify potential hazards and recommend preventive and corrective actions.
- Organize safety training and awareness programs for employees, contractors, and workers.
- Monitor and ensure the use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) at all times.
- Maintain accident and incident reports, and investigate root causes of safety breaches.
- Ensure compliance with local laws, OSHA regulations, and company standards.
- Liaise with site engineers, supervisors, and contractors to ensure safety is integrated into daily operations.
- Prepare safety reports and submit them to the management periodically.
- Maintain first aid, fire-fighting, and emergency evacuation readiness.

**Qualifications**:

- Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Occupational Safety, or related field.
- Certification in Industrial Safety / NEBOSH / IOSH or equivalent (preferred).

**Experience & Skills**:

- 3-8 years of experience as a Safety Officer, preferably in the construction or infrastructure sector.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations, legal standards, and industry best practices.
- Good communication, observation, and documentation skills.
- Ability to train, influence, and motivate site staff towards a safety-first culture.
- Conflict resolution and incident handling abilities.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
