Content Strategist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Content Strategist/Digital Storyteller to join our dynamic

website and social media strategies to increase brand awareness, improve marketing

efforts, and increase school admissions. The content strategist/digital storyteller will work

closely with the marketing team, content creators, and designers to ensure all content

creation and distribution align with our brand identity and marketing objectives.

The role will involve targeting content output to a defined audience, in keeping with the

values and outcomes of the school in particular, and academic achievements in general. In

accordance with this, the storyteller will over time develop a unique, uniform brand voice

for the school’s online presence that resonates with parents, teachers, and students alike.

This is a great opportunity for someone with natural storytelling abilities.

**Responsibilities**:

- Craft and execute a social media storytelling plan that aligns with the organisation’s

marketing goals.
- Research and identify trending topics and conversations that resonate with the

school and target audience.
- Produce engaging and original content in various formats, including text, images,

graphics, creatives, videos, and live streams.
- Establish and maintain a consistent brand voice and personality across the website

and all social media channels.
- Schedule and publish content according to a detailed content calendar.
- Monitor and analyse social media metrics and track key performance indicators

(KPIs) to evaluate the success of storytelling campaigns.
- Manage social media communications, including responding to comments and

messages in a timely manner.
- Stay informed about the latest social media/online community trends and best

practices.
- Collaborate with other marketing team members to ensure a unified brand

message.
- Possess strong camera skills to capture high-quality photos and videos during

various school events and activities.
- Create compelling videos and visuals that effectively highlight school events,

activities, and achievements.
- Plan and execute social media campaigns in alignment with the school’s academic

calendar.
- Create engaging and high-quality content for social media platforms, including

written, graphic, and video content.
- Identify and engage with influencers and alumni groups.
- Plan and maintain a content bank for evergreen content that can be repurposed as

needed.

**Requirements**:

- Proven work experience as a content strategist or similar role (at least 2-3 years).
- Expertise in multiple social media platforms and management tools.
- Excellent knowledge of social media analytics and reporting.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in content creation and a creative mindset.
- Ability to adapt to and work effectively in a dynamic environment.

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism, Media, or a related

field (preferred).

Certification in Social Media Marketing or Digital Marketing (preferred).
