Hse Executive

**Job Overview**:
The HSE Executive will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies and procedures for the greenfield manufacturing project. The role ensures compliance with national regulations, industry standards, and company policies to create a safe and sustainable work environment during project execution and operational setup.

**Key Responsibilities:1. HSE Compliance & Policy Implementation**:

- Ensure compliance with local, state, and national HSE regulations (e.g., Factories Act, OSHA, ISO 45001, ISO 14001).
- Develop and implement HSE policies, procedures, and site-specific safety plans.
- Conduct risk assessments, hazard identification, and implement control measures.

**2. Safety Inspections & Audits**:

- Perform regular site inspections and audits to ensure adherence to HSE standards.
- Identify potential hazards and recommend corrective/preventive actions.
- Maintain records of incidents, near-misses, and safety violations.

**3. Training & Awareness Programs**:

- Conduct HSE inductions for new employees, contractors, and visitors.
- Organize safety drills, fire safety training, and emergency preparedness programs.
- Promote a safety culture through awareness campaigns and toolbox talks.

**4. Emergency Preparedness & Incident Management**:

- Develop and implement emergency response plans.
- Investigate incidents, analyze root causes, and implement corrective actions.
- Liaise with emergency response teams and local authorities when required.

**5. Contractor & Vendor HSE Management**:

- Ensure contractors and vendors comply with project-specific HSE guidelines.
- Conduct safety evaluations and audits of contractor activities.
- Approve work permits and oversee high-risk activities (e.g., confined space work, working at heights, heavy lifting).

**6. Environmental Compliance & Sustainability**:

- Monitor environmental impact, including waste management, pollution control, and energy conservation.
- Ensure adherence to environmental laws and sustainability practices.
- Develop and execute programs for reducing carbon footprint and resource optimization.

**7. Reporting & Documentation**:

- Maintain HSE records, reports, and documentation as per regulatory requirements.
- Prepare reports on safety performance, incidents, and corrective measures.
- Assist in internal and external HSE audits.

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Certification in NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA, or equivalent is preferred.
- 3-7 years of experience in HSE roles, preferably in greenfield or industrial projects.
- Knowledge of national and international safety standards and regulations.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in HSE software and reporting tools.
- Effective communication and leadership abilities.

**Work Conditions**:

- Site-based role with exposure to construction and industrial environments.

**Preferred Skills**:

- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in incident investigation and root cause analysis.
- Knowledge of construction safety, hazardous material handling, and fire safety.
- Ability to conduct safety training sessions and awareness programs.
