**Job Summary**:
The Factory Supervisor will oversee day-to-day operations within the mattress manufacturing facility, ensuring efficient production processes, high-quality products, and a safe working environment. This role involves managing a team of production workers, coordinating production schedules, maintaining equipment, and ensuring that all operations comply with safety standards, quality standards, and company policies.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Supervision of Production Staff**:

- Lead, motivate, and supervise a team of production operators and technicians.
- Provide training, guidance, and development opportunities to staff members.
- Monitor work performance and conduct performance reviews.
- Ensure proper staffing levels and handle employee absenteeism or overtime requirements.
- **Production Oversight**:

- Coordinate daily production activities to meet production targets and deadlines.
- Monitor production schedules and ensure alignment with demand forecasts.
- Ensure proper allocation of resources (raw materials, machinery, labor).
- Troubleshoot production problems, resolve issues promptly, and minimize downtime.
- **Quality Control**:

- Enforce adherence to quality standards and specifications for finished products.
- Perform regular inspections of production lines to ensure products meet quality standards.
- Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- **Safety Compliance**:

- Ensure a safe working environment by enforcing health and safety regulations.
- Monitor the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe work practices.
- Conduct regular safety audits and assist in the investigation of accidents or near-misses.
- Implement and maintain safety training programs for the production team.
- **Inventory and Materials Management**:

- Oversee the proper handling and storage of raw materials, components, and finished goods.
- Coordinate with the inventory team to ensure stock levels are sufficient for production needs.
- Ensure efficient use of materials to minimize waste and optimize production processes.
- **Process Improvement**:

- Continuously evaluate and improve production processes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Work with other departments (e.g., Maintenance, Engineering) to identify opportunities for process optimization.
- Implement lean manufacturing techniques to reduce waste and improve throughput.
- **Reporting & Documentation**:

- Maintain accurate records of production metrics, quality control data, and inventory levels.
- Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly production reports to management.
- Document any incidents, safety violations, or equipment failures.
- **Maintenance & Equipment Management**:

- Ensure proper maintenance of production machinery and equipment.
- Coordinate with the maintenance team to schedule regular equipment inspections and repairs.
- Report equipment issues promptly to minimize production downtime.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
