**Job description**

**RESPONSIBILITIES:

- **

1. Conduct comprehensive internal audits to assess the effectiveness of internal controls and compliance with company policies and regulations.

2. Identify and evaluate potential risks, ensuring adequate controls are in place to mitigate those risks.

3. Perform detailed testing of financial transactions, records, and systems to identify anomalies, errors, or irregularities.

4. Prepare and present audit findings, recommendations, and reports to management, highlighting areas of improvement and risk exposure.

5. Collaborate with various departments to develop and implement action plans to address audit findings and enhance internal control processes.

6. Monitor and review financial and operational processes, identifying opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.

7. Stay updated on changes in regulatory requirements and industry best practices to ensure compliance and recommend adjustments to internal controls, policies, and procedures as needed.

8. Participate in special projects and investigations as assigned by management.

9. Foster a culture of integrity, ethics, and compliance within the organization.

10. Assist with external audit engagements and provide support as necessary.

**QUALIFICATION:

- **
- Masters / Bachelor\'s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. A professional certification (such as Inter CA/ICWA) is desirable.
- Proven experience as an Internal Auditor or similar role within a manufacturing or related industry.
- Strong knowledge of internal auditing standards, financial and operational processes, risk management, and control frameworks.
- Proficient in using audit software, data analytics tools, and Microsoft Office suite.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and identify areas of improvement.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in work.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate audit findings to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Ethical and professional conduct, maintaining confidentiality and objectivity in all aspects of work.
