Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Internal Auditor located in Mumbai. The Internal Auditor will be responsible for planning and executing internal audits to assess the effectiveness of internal controls, compliance, and operational processes. The role involves developing audit plans, conducting fieldwork, identifying control weaknesses, and providing recommendations for improvements. Ongoing tasks also include preparing audit reports, collaborating with management to address issues, and ensuring adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements. Candidates working in Financial Services sector will be preferred

Qualifications

  • Experience in conducting internal audits and risk assessments
  • Knowledge of auditing standards, internal controls, and compliance procedures
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Professional certification such as CIA, CA, or CPA is a plus
  • Proficiency in auditing software and MS Office applications
  • Experience in the professional services sector within Financial services is beneficial
