Purchase Executive

We are a 40 year old leading manufacturer of sophisticated packaging machines for FMCG industry. Our customers are spread over thirty Countries. We have the state of art infrastructure equipped with all modern facilities and having workshop space of 75,000 sq. feet at three different locations. The group is DSIR (GOI) approved R&D House and credit rating that indicates high-performance capability and high financial strength., we are looking for:

**Job Responsibilities:

1. To monitor the activities of Purchase department.

2. To check the report of parts for which PO are not made & take action for it.

3. To study part drawings and prepare/checking the costing of make parts & rate comparison of BOP. Arrange to get the rates approved.

4. To check the report of pending PO status for all vendors. Take action for lead time crossed parts.

5. To check the status of target dates for shortages against ERP reports.

6. To check the quality rejections reports & take actions accordingly.

7. Arrange to feed all job work rates in ERP for vendors and in-house contractors.

8. To check the reports of pending spare orders & take action accordingly.

9. To check the requirements of materials other than RPO & sale orders like consumables, Tools, Raw Materials, maintenance parts etc. & take actio.n to purchase the same.

10. Establishing selection criteria for approved suppliers / vendors.

11. Maintaining list of approved suppliers / vendors

12 Vendor Development

13 Finalization of various orders for supply of items.

14. Prepare & Issue purchase order and maintaining records.

15. Ensure the purchase activities of various materials and equipment with clear quality standards so as to ensure high quality of product to the end-customer.

16. Procurement of plants & machinery, spare parts, tools and other items.

17. Co-ordinate within the department and with other departments

18. Cost Control.

19. Assisting Quality Control for disposition of incoming rejections.

20. Supplier grading, re-evaluation and re-approval.

21. Knowledge of taxation.

22. Management of dead inventory and disposal.

23. To clean the ERP data so that authentic data can be available to Purchase team.

24. To do meeting with vendors on regular basis as per defined agenda.

25. To monitor the new Vendor development process as per requirements.

26. To monitor the process of EPM implementation.

27. To monitor the process of material planning as per working system of Make to Stock.

28. To check the ERP report of materials below minimum & above maximum stock levels.

29. To monitor the vendor evaluation process.

30. To monitor the implementation of 5S in Purchase as well as Store.

31. To monitor the status of materials receiving against RGP challans.

Education:

- B.Tech and/or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (Regular) from a reputed institute.

Experience
- 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in Purchase function.

Compensation:

- Commensurate with qualifications, experience, and professional background.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
