A Hotel Sales Executive is responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying, developing, and maintaining relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, and event planners. This role involves promoting the hotel’s services, identifying sales opportunities, and managing client accounts to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Sales & Business Development**:
- Identify and target potential clients, including corporate accounts, travel agencies, event planners, and individual customers.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve hotel revenue goals.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, while prospecting new business opportunities.
- Conduct sales presentations and negotiate contracts for corporate stays, group bookings, events, and conferences.
- Monitor competitors’ activities and adjust sales tactics accordingly.
- **Client Relationship Management**:
- Build and maintain positive relationships with key clients to maximize repeat business and customer loyalty.
- Address client inquiries and concerns promptly, ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
- Provide clients with personalized service, catering to their needs, and ensuring the hotel’s offerings meet their expectations.
- **Sales Targets & Reporting**:
- Meet and exceed individual and team sales targets.
- Maintain detailed records of sales activities, client interactions, and business leads.
- Provide regular reports to senior management on sales progress, client feedback, and market trends.
- **Marketing & Promotions**:
- Collaborate with the marketing team to promote special offers, seasonal packages, and hotel events.
- Participate in trade shows, networking events, and industry conferences to promote the hotel and build brand awareness.
- **Event & Group Sales**:
- Assist in securing group bookings, conferences, meetings, and events.
- Work with the hotel’s event planning team to ensure seamless execution of events from booking through to completion.
- **Cross-Department Collaboration**:
- Work closely with other departments (e.g., Front Office, Food & Beverage, and Housekeeping) to ensure client needs are met and services are delivered to the highest standard.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience in hotel sales, business development, or a related field.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of hotel management software (e.g., Opera, Salesforce) is a plus.
- Flexibility to travel and attend off-site events when necessary.
