**Planning and development**Planning and developing nursing services, including new projects, expansions, and system implementations
- **Quality assurance**Ensuring quality control in nursing services, and delivering and evaluating patient care
- **Staffing**Overseeing staffing and resource needs, including recommending personnel and materials
- **Policies and procedures**Formulating nursing policies and procedures, and implementing them across nursing units
- **Records and reports**Maintaining records and reports, such as health leave records and confidential reports
- **Staff management**Supervising the health and welfare of nursing staff, maintaining discipline, and counseling and guiding staff
- **Training**Developing staff through training programs
- **Liaison**Acting as a liaison between the hospital and other organizations
- **Other duties**Attending hospital meetings and conferences, preparing budgets, and being a member of condemnation boards
A nursing superintendent may also be responsible for:
- Analyzing and approving leaves
- Organizing CNE programs
- Being involved in nursing research
- Ensuring quality control in nursing service
- Investigating complaints and taking action
- Visiting the hospital beyond duty hours in an emergency
- Reviewing the performance of nursing officers and senior nursing officers
Pay: ₹10,218.54 - ₹31,240.12 per month

- Bachelor's (preferred)
**Experience**:
- Nursing: 1 year (required)
