- **Billing and Invoicing**: They generate invoices for services provided by contract workers to clients or staffing agencies. This involves accurately recording billable hours, rates, and any additional charges or expenses.
- **Accounts Receivable Management**: They track payments from clients or staffing agencies and ensure timely collection of outstanding invoices. This may involve following up on overdue payments, resolving billing discrepancies, and maintaining communication with clients regarding payment terms.
- **Payroll Processing Support**: While the primary responsibility for payroll processing may fall under the jurisdiction of the Compliance & Payroll Executive, the Finance & Accounts Executive may provide support by reconciling payroll data, verifying timesheets, and ensuring accuracy in payroll-related transactions.
- **Expense Management**: They oversee expense reimbursement processes for contract workers, ensuring that expenses are properly documented, approved, and reimbursed according to company policies and client agreements.
- **Financial Reporting**: They prepare financial reports and statements related to contract staffing operations, including revenue recognition, accounts receivable aging, and profitability analysis. These reports help management assess the financial performance of the contract staffing business and make informed decisions.
- **Budgeting and Forecasting**: They assist in budget preparation and forecasting for contract staffing activities, providing insights into revenue projections, expenses, and resource allocation needs.
- **Compliance and Taxation**: They collaborate with the Compliance & Payroll Executive to ensure compliance with tax regulations, including withholding taxes, reporting requirements, and filing deadlines. They may also assist in preparing tax documents and responding to tax inquiries or audits.
- **Financial Analysis**: They analyze financial data and performance metrics to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities for cost optimization or revenue enhancement in contract staffing operations.
