**ob Summary**:
Responsible for setting up and operating Vertical Machining Centers (VMC) as per process requirements and drawings to produce precision components with high accuracy, surface finish, and productivity.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Set up tools, fixtures, and workpieces on the VMC machine according to job specifications.
- Prepare and load CNC programs and verify correctness before machining.
- Perform job setup, tool offset, work offset, and coordinate setting.
- Ensure first-piece inspection and obtain approval before mass production.
- Monitor machining operations and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality.
- Check parts for dimensional accuracy using vernier, micrometer, height gauge, and CMM (if required).
- Optimize cutting parameters for improved cycle time and tool life.
- Report any machine, tool, or quality issues to the supervisor immediately.
- Maintain 5S, machine cleanliness, and safety standards on the shop floor.
- Support in minor preventive maintenance and tooling inventory control.

**Required Skills & Competencies**:

- Hands-on experience in **Fanuc / Siemens / Mitsubishi control systems**.
- Strong understanding of **fixture setup, tool selection, and machining parameters**.
- Ability to read and interpret **2D drawings and G-code programs**.
- Knowledge of basic measuring instruments and inspection methods.
- Good problem-solving and teamwork skills.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹12,698.23 - ₹34,850.52 per month
