**Role Summary**

Master Data Management (MDM) platform owner is responsible for the overall strategy, implementation, and maintenance of an organization's MDM system.

This includes ensuring that the system is able to effectively manage and govern the organization's critical data assets, such as customer and product data.

The role involves working with different departments and stakeholders to understand their data needs and how the MDM system can support them. Additionally, the MDM platform owner is responsible for data quality, data security, and data governance processes

**Core Responsibility**
- Master Data Management (MDM) platform owner is responsible for the overall strategy, implementation, and maintenance of an organization's MDM system and integration with source/target systems to enable e2e data flow.
- Establishing & developing a COE (Team, Processes, Governance, etc.) to enable providing this as a capability servicing multiple geographies. End-to-end management of Platform (MDM & its integrations) to enable business and technology leaders of the organization to communicate business needs and meet business challenges.
- Ensure the platform is developed/improved continuously and delivers value to different Bus consistently
- Developing and implementing the overall strategy for the organization's MDM system. This includes setting goals and objectives for the system, as well as determining how it will support the organization's overall data management efforts.
- Leading the implementation of the MDM system, including coordinating with different departments and stakeholders to ensure their data needs are met.
- Overseeing the maintenance and ongoing development of the MDM system, including monitoring its performance and making adjustments as necessary.
- Managing the data governance processes for the MDM system, including ensuring that data is accurate, complete, and consistent across the organization.
- Managing the data quality and data security for the MDM system, including implementing policies and procedures to protect sensitive data.
