**Position: Principal Solution Architect - Pre-Sales**

**Experience: 12+ Years (Minimum 4 years relevant experience)**

**Location: Noida (preferred) /Mumbai**

As a Principal Solution Architect within our AWS Global CoE Pre-Sales team, you will play a pivotal role in driving successful pre-sales engagements and guiding clients towards successful cloud adoption. You'll leverage your deep technical expertise and passion for AWS to collaborate with regional teams, design compelling solutions, own the technical solution from proposal to closure, and ensure smooth handover to delivery teams.

**Responsibilities**
- Partner with regional pre-sales teams to design and present technically sound and commercially viable AWS solutions across various industries.
- Lead or guide hands-on proof-of-concept (POC) engagements, demonstrating the value proposition of AWS solutions through real-world implementations.
- Work collaboratively with architects, engineers, and business development representatives to develop comprehensive pre-sales proposals, detailing technical solution, scoping, and project timelines.
- Conduct technical workshops and demos, effectively communicating the benefits of AWS to potential clients.
- Stay at the forefront of AWS technology advancements, continuously expanding your knowledge of cloud services and best practices.
- Drive the technical solution from proposal to closure, collaborating closely with clients, addressing concerns, and ensuring successful implementation.
- Lead the scoping process, working with clients to define project scope, timeline, and resource requirements.
- Define project timelines, according to the proposed solution and scope.
- Mentor and guide junior solution architects, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment.

**Requirements**:

- Extensive experience as a Solution Architect or similar role, with extensive hands-on experience in deploying and managing AWS solutions.
- Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear and concise language for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Demonstrated expertise in core AWS services, including compute, storage, networking, security, and relevant migration tools.
- Strong understanding of cloud architecture principles and best practices (e.g., AWS Well-Architected Framework).
- Excellent communication, collaboration, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solution Architect - Professional) highly preferred.
