Role & responsibilities

Job Overview: As a Medical Counselor, you will play a crucial role in helping individuals and families understand the procedure and policies of hospitalization post discharge from hospital in case they have any query. You will provide counseling, support, and education to clients, working closely with healthcare professionals and contributing to patient satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
Medical Counseling:
Conduct medical counseling sessions with patients and families.

Explain complex medical information in a clear and understandable manner.

Patient Education:
Provide information on the symptoms, causes, natural history, and treatment of certain orthopedic and urological conditions.

Educate clients about available cell therapy treatment options, including benefits and limitations.

Answer phones promptly and direct calls to the appropriate personnel.

Verify insurance information and assist patients with insurance-related inquiries.

Efficiently manage appointment scheduling and rescheduling of patients with doctors

Emotional Support:
Offer emotional support and counseling to patients and families dealing with conditions.

Facilitate discussions on coping strategies and family dynamics.

Collaboration with Healthcare Professionals:
Collaborate with doctors and their medical teams about cell therapy and its potential outcomes

Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate and confidential records of medical counseling sessions.

Prepare detailed reports for select doctors and their medical staff

Skills and Competencies:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Empathy and sensitivity in dealing with individuals and families facing challenges.

Ability to work collaboratively in a healthcare team.

Knowledge of cell therapy, medical counseling techniques, and ethical considerations.

Education OR Experience

UG: Any Studies From Medical Domain (Including Physiotherapy)
