**Job Title: Procurement Specialist - Interior Design**

**Experience - 2-3 years**

**Location : Vijayanagar, Bangalore**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Vendor Sourcing & Relationship Management**:

- Identify, evaluate, and develop relationships with vendors, suppliers, and manufacturers for furniture, lighting, finishes, and other interior design materials.
- Negotiate terms, prices, and contracts to secure the best deals while maintaining high quality standards.
- Manage vendor relationships to ensure consistent quality, delivery, and service levels.
- **Material Selection & Purchasing**:

- Collaborate with interior designers and project managers to understand project requirements, budgets, and timelines.
- Research, source, and recommend materials, finishes, furnishings, and décor that align with the design vision and project needs.
- Purchase and track orders for materials, ensuring adherence to design specifications and timely delivery.
- **Budget Management**:

- Monitor and manage the project procurement budget, ensuring that purchases stay within the allocated budget.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising design quality or project deadlines.
- Prepare and maintain accurate procurement reports, tracking all purchases, expenditures, and budget allocations.
- **Quality Control & Compliance**:

- Ensure that all procured materials and products meet the required quality standards and comply with safety regulations, environmental guidelines, and design specifications.
- Conduct quality inspections and follow-up with suppliers to resolve any issues related to damaged or non-compliant products.
- **Logistics & Supply Chain Management**:

- Coordinate logistics and delivery schedules to ensure that all purchased items are delivered to the project site on time.
- Monitor the supply chain process to avoid delays or disruptions in the procurement process.
- Manage warehousing, storage, and inventory of materials until they are required on-site.
- **Project Coordination**:

- Work closely with interior designers, site engineers, project managers, and contractors to ensure seamless integration of procured items into the overall project plan.
- Provide regular updates on procurement status and address any concerns related to materials availability or delays.
- **Documentation & Reporting**:

- Maintain detailed records of procurement activities, including purchase orders, contracts, invoices, and delivery schedules.
- Prepare and present procurement reports to project stakeholders, highlighting risks, delays, or any issues affecting the procurement process.
- **Sustainability & Ethical Sourcing**:

- Explore and implement sustainable and eco-friendly procurement practices, sourcing materials from environmentally responsible suppliers.
- Ensure that all materials are ethically sourced, adhering to social and environmental standards.

**Key Skills and Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, procurement, business administration, interior design, or a related field.
- Proven experience in procurement, preferably within the interior design, construction, or architectural sectors.
- Strong knowledge of furniture, fixtures, materials, and finishes used in interior design projects.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.
- Familiarity with procurement software, inventory management systems, and budgeting tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to manage budgets and timelines.
- Knowledge of sustainability practices in sourcing and materials.

**Work Environment**:

- The role may involve travel to meet suppliers, visit manufacturing facilities, and inspect materials.
- This position requires close collaboration with design and construction teams, working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

The **Procurement Specialist** ensures the seamless integration of materials and furnishings into a design project, playing a vital role in delivering a project that meets both aesthetic and functional goals.

Pay: ₹10,091.20 - ₹34,474.43 per month
