Agile Product Owner

As part of a diverse multi-disciplinary global team, you will collaborate with other disciplines within the team to generate ideas, innovate solutions and hypotheses, design experiments and concepts, create Minimum Viable Products and harvest Business Value.
- 8+ years of **relevant **business functional analysis experience in Finance.
- Experience/exposure to the Product Owner role and AGILE ways of working
- An interest in Design Thinking, Product Thinking and Product Management
- Relevant domain knowledge of Finance (Pnl, Accounting, Commercial / Investment Banking)
- Strong analytical skills, particularly regarding data and rules
- Ability to interact with a diverse group of stakeholders.

The Accounting Team is an 800+ person global, diverse and award-winning team, which partners with Finance in investment banking, treasury and corporate bank to create products to delight our users through-out the value chain, starting in T+1 Product Control and providing the necessary information to the General Ledger from Transaction and Hedge Accounting.

**Your key responsibilities**

In close collaboration with Product Management, Finance Users, Architecture and Agile Teams
- Understand the needs and gains of our customers, the user journeys and be confident to present to stakeholders.
- Work with customers and engineering teams to generate solution options to customer needs & issues, including associated costs and benefits, with emphasis on maximising the business value delivered.
- Contribute to the defining and shaping of Product Vision, Strategy, Roadmap and Backlog, and the artefacts needed to create the flow of value.
- Find creative ways to elicit needs and information in a global and remote working environment.
- Support improving the team mindset and skills by mentoring and coaching them on business processes, analytical skills, Product Thinking and Design Thinking

**Your skills and experience**

Skills and experiences which are seen as being vital to the success of this role are:

- Suitable experience in finance domain, including business processes, data and rules.
- Knowledge and exposure to Investment Banking Products, Trade Lifecycle and related accounting behavior and treatment.
- Genuine passion about Product Thinking / mindset and a desire to do what is best for the End User / Customer, and Deutsche Bank and to focus on outcomes.
- Working in Agile teams (Scrum / Kanban) and being able to work at scale in an Agile and distributed environment.
- Advanced data analysis skills including experience of tools like Excel, SQL, Python, etc. & experience in interpreting and working with data models.
- Experience supporting and/or facilitating workshops, focus groups or forums.
- Ability to work globally across multiple locations and work independently.
- Good written, spoken and interpersonal communication skills

**Other useful skills / experience**
- Knowledge of Accounting rules and practices in DB and industry
- Experience of enterprise data models
- Knowledge / experience of Feature Mapping and/or Behaviour Driven Development and other Lean-Agile analysis practices
- Knowledge/experience/exposure to Cloud Technology.
