QA for Mainframe Modernisation

Responsibilities:

- Experienced at designing and executing test scenarios / test cases for mainframe modernization
- Enhance and extend test automation frameworks
- Identify SQA tasks during team sprint cycle, think about testing and automation strategies, estimate test efforts, and implement automation for new features
- Analyze and communicate test results and defect tracking
- Assist in the planning, creation and control of test environments and test data
- Participate in the review of QA procedures and processes and provide recommendations for improvement to eliminate redundancies in testing and improve efficiency
- Innovate in the best automation, Agile and continuous testing practices by trying new solutions and technologies on the market and recommending their use
- Experience in Retail services domain will be a big plus

Required Qualification:

- Total Experience should be more than 6+ years.
- 5+ years of experience in a Software Quality Assurance / Engineering role
- 4+ years of experience with Mainframe Functional testing (TSO/ISPF, CICS, VSAM, DB2)
- 2+ years of experience with Mainframe modernization testing
- Experience working with mainframe testing tools/framework - such as IBM File Manager, SPUFI, File Compare
- Analyze business processes, procedures and policies and able document the test requirements
- Experience with open source tools and resources
- Knowledge of different test methodologies and their corresponding tools
- The ability to keep up to date with the constantly changing technology industry and willingness to learn and adapt
- Experience with test automation frameworks, designing and automation skills
- Hands-on experience with writing automation test code and utilizing leading industry standard tools (UFT, IDEs, Terminal Emulators, SOAP UI, JMeter, Renorex/Selenium, Robotic Test Automation using Python/API Testing, SQL Skills) and frameworks that can simulate complex multi-system scenarios
- Proficiency with automated testing types (Unit, Functional, Load, Security, Behavioral, Integration, Component, Contract, End-to-End) is a ++
- Strong communication, presentation, and leadership skills
