**Job Title**: Accountant / Tax Associate

**Location**: Surat

**About Us**:
We are a Chartered Accountancy firm providing professional services in bookkeeping, GST compliance, and income tax filing. Our practice is moving towards a more digital and paperless working style, using **Tally** and **Suvit** software to streamline operations.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Maintain accurate **bookkeeping** in Tally and other accounting software.
- Prepare and file **GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, annual returns, etc.)**.
- Assist in preparation and filing of **Income Tax Returns (ITR)** for individuals, firms, and companies.
- Record and reconcile financial transactions, bank statements, and ledgers.
- Ensure compliance with statutory deadlines (GST, TDS, Advance Tax, ITR, etc.).
- Support in preparation of working papers, audit schedules, and other documentation.
- Use **Suvit** for automated data entry, reconciliation, and reporting.
- Communicate with clients for data collection, clarifications, and follow-ups.

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- B.Com / M.Com / Inter-CA or equivalent.
- Hands-on experience with **Tally Prime** (knowledge of GST features is a plus).
- Knowledge of GST, TDS, and Income Tax compliance.
- Basic understanding of Suvit software preferred (training can be provided).
- Proficient in MS Excel and accounting concepts.
- Good communication skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

**Experience Required**:

- 0 to 3 years (Freshers with good knowledge can also apply).

**Salary**:
