The Quality Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance in our SMT and backend operations. This role will involve developing and implementing quality control processes, conducting inspections, and leading continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality.

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead the quality function for SMT and backend operations, ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
- Will be responsible for AOI operations on SMT line.
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality control processes, procedures, and documentation.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of SMT and backend operations to identify and resolve quality issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). Analyse data and performance metrics to identify trends, root causes, and opportunities for improvement.
- Train and mentor quality team members and production staff on quality control processes and best practices. Maintain detailed records of quality control activities, inspections, and audits.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards, including IPC and ISO standards.
- Support new product introduction (NPI) processes by developing quality plan and conducting first article inspections (FAI). Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, reduce defects.

**Qualifications**:

- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in electronics manufacturing shop floor as quality engineer covering SMT and backend operations.
- Strong knowledge of IPC and ISO standards, as well as quality control methodologies and tools.
- Proven experience in leading quality control processes and developing quality documentation. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a strong attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
