Evaluate and negotiate contracts with vendors.

Prepare accurate reports for upper management.

Maintaining good relationships with suppliers.

Compare and evaluate offers from suppliers.

Identifying the need to purchase products.

Review quality of purchased products.

Track orders and ensure timely delivery.

Monitoring the stock levels.

Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations.

Prepare cost analyses.

Tracking and fixing shipping errors.

RESPONSIBLE FOR ORDER PROCESSING, DOCUMENTARY PREPARATION, LOGISTICS COORDINATION, FINANCIAL ARRANGEMENT, AND ADMINISTRATIVE BACKOFFICE SUPPORTS FOR ALL PURCHASING AND LOGISTICS ACTIVITIES
- ISSUES PURCHASE/SALES CONTRACT AND ENSURE ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF ORDER FROM SUPPLIERS/INTER-CO
- COORDINATES WITH RELEVANT DEPARTMENTS AND SUPPLIERS/INTER-CO ON SHIPMENT STATUS AND RELATED LOGISTICS MATTERS
- WORK CLOSELY WITH SUPPLIERS/INTER-CO ON DOCUMENTATION REQUIREMENT AND SHIPMENT ARRANGEMENT
- MONITORING SHIPMENT STATUS AND LIASE WITH SUPPLIER/CARRIER TO ENSURE CLEAN AND PROPER DOCUMENTATIONS
- MONITOR VESSEL MOVEMENT AND PROVIDE LATEST POSITION UPDATE TO INTER-CO
- ENSURE TIMELY DOCUMENTARY AND LOGISTICS SUPPORT WITH SMOOTH DISCHARGE OPERATION UPON VESSEL ARRIVAL AT DESTINATIONS
- PREPARES DAILY PAYMENTS & VOUCHERS AND CO-OPERATES WITH ACCOUNTS

DEPARTMENT FOR AFTER-SALES TASKS
- FOLLOW UP ON CLAIMS AND OTHER INCIDENTS SUCH AS DEMURRAGE, QUALITY/QUANTITY CLAIMS, PRICE ADJUSTMENTS WITH SUPPLIERS/INTER-CO, AND OTHER INCIDENTS OF ALL COMMERCIAL DEALS
- MAINTAIN AND UPDATE INFORMATION FOR DATABASE BUILDING (INCLUDING ORDER STATUS, PRICING, A/C RECEIVABLE & PAYABLE, AND SUPPLIER PORTFOLIO). TO COMPILE WEEKLY/MONTHLY SALES & PURCHASE REPORTS FOR SUBMISSION TO PURCHASING MANAGER AND RELEVANT DEPARTMENTS
- MONITOR PERFORMANCE OF SUPPLIERS TO MAKE SURE ALL SUPPLIES ARE DELIVERED IN TIMELY, ACCURATE IN AN EQUALITY MANNER
- ASSIST PURCHASING MANAGER IN COLLATING AND COMPILING MARKET DATA AND MARKET REPORTS
- PERFORM OTHER AD HOC DUTIES AS ASSIGNED

**Additional Information**
- GOOD WORKING KNOWLEDGE OF IMPORT/EXPORT PROCEDURES, INCOTERMS AND INTERNATIONAL TRADE ARE REQUIRED
- FAMILIAR WITH DOCUMENTATION AND ORDER PROCESSING. GOOD UNDERSTANDING OF PROCUREMENT PRACTICES AND PROCEDURES
- KNOWLEDGE OF GAFTA WILL BE AN ADVANTAGE
- FAMILIAR WITH MS WORD & EXCEL
- STRONG ATTENTION TO DETAIL, ORGANIZED, ANALYTICAL MIND, INDEPENDENT THINKER AND GOOD TEAM PLAYER
- INITIATIVE, WILLING TO LEARN AND CAN WORK UNDER PRESSURE

**Salary**: ₹17,000.00 - ₹36,881.57 per month
