Desired profile:

- 4-8 years of relevant experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Sound knowledge of MS Word; Excel and PPT

New Journal Acquisition: 25% of time
- Manage process for new journal inquiries received. Dealing with initial inquiries; obtaining the required information on the journal feasibility form
- Business Development and new journal acquisition in various assigned markets
- Perform research on assigned markets, prepare database, outreach to the journal editors/societies for subsequent acquisition
- Evaluation of filled form of new journal - forward to manager for review
- Preparation of MOU once reviewed and approved
- Updating and managing Journal Acquisition Masterfile
- To keep track of payment receipt and follow up
- Quotation preparation per issue for associations’ approval to proceed further
- Handle direct queries by discussing, negotiating, following-up for subsequent acquisition

Renewal of existing journal contracts: 25% of time
- Drafting and rolling out MOUs to respective journals before the end of the contract expiry
- Reminder and follow-up with them for renewal
- Once renewal process is completed - update all relevant teams in our database / on server
- Keep track of all information as below:

- Year of signing | Expiry of MOU | per page rate | ISSN No. | Revenue sharing details | Quotation details
- Coordinate, negotiate, follow-up and complete pending renewals
- Setup regular meetings with Editors to complete assigned tasks

Coordination with various stakeholders and market research: 25% of time
- Managing daily quotation and other requests from Production / Accounts / Marketing / IT / Subscriptions team
- Managing daily queries related to publishing of new journals
- Coordinate and handle new journal onboarding and journal deactivation
- Coordinate with internal teams for journal operations of all priority journals.
- Maintain, update and share Operation Issue Tracker on weekly basis. Perform regular data and trend analysis of the issue tracker
- Update and maintain various files, platforms and trackers like Subscription, Contract Renewal, Direct Queries, RNI, Journal Acquisition, Operations etc.
- Collaborate with Production team to identify and revive any inactive journals in our portfolio. Maintain tracker and sharing weekly status report
- Account Manager for all medium and low priority journals
- Assist Head of Publishing and Publishing Manger to achieve subscription goals, market research, revenue growth and conversion growth
- Managing the on-boarding process for all titles and ensure smooth and efficient on-boarding for internal & external customers and follow-up to ensure assigned tasks are completed on time

Administrative responsibilities and reporting: 25% of time
- Handle RNI/MIB work as and when assigned for relevant journals
- Coordinate with RNI consultant, Mumbai District magistrate office, RNI office
- Complete 100% annual e-Filling on or before the deadline by RNI office
- Acquire new institutional subscribers and renew existing institutional subscribers
- Share weekly RNI report
- Online registration for International Standard Serial Number - ISSN
