QA Tester

**Job Title: QA Tester (Quality Assurance Tester)**

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated QA Tester to join our dynamic team. As a QA Tester, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other team members to identify, report, and track defects, as well as validate that the software meets established quality standards.

**Responsibilities**:
**Test Planning**: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements, features, and specifications. Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases that cover various aspects of the software, including functionality, performance, security, and usability.

**Test Execution**:Perform manual testing to identify defects, inconsistencies, and potential issues in the software. Execute test cases across different platforms, devices, and environments to ensure compatibility and stability.

**Defect Reporting**:Accurately document defects using standardized bug tracking tools. Provide clear and detailed information, including steps to reproduce, expected results, and actual results. Collaborate with developers to ensure proper resolution of identified issues.

**Regression Testing**: Conduct regular regression testing to ensure that new features or changes do not negatively impact existing functionality. Create and maintain regression test suites for efficient testing cycles.

**Automated Testing**:Assist in the development and maintenance of automated test scripts and frameworks. Execute automated tests to increase testing efficiency and coverage.

**Performance Testing**:Collaborate with the performance testing team to execute performance and load tests. Analyze and report performance bottlenecks and suggest improvements.

**Documentation**: Contribute to the creation and maintenance of testing documentation, including test plans, test cases, and testing procedures.

**Continuous Improvement**: Identify opportunities for process improvement within the QA team. Propose and implement strategies to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.

**Collaboration**:Work closely with developers, product managers, and other team members to understand user stories and requirements, clarify issues, and provide feedback during the development lifecycle.

**Quality Advocacy**:Act as an advocate for quality assurance best practices within the organization. Champion a culture of quality and continuous improvement.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Familiarity with QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in using bug tracking and test management tools.
- Basic understanding of programming concepts and ability to read code (for automated testing purposes).
- Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks is a plus.
- Knowledge of different testing types (functional, regression, performance, security, etc.).
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., ISTQB) are a plus but not required.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
