Job Overview Under close guidance, translates and verifies data from various sources such as prescriber information and product information. Essential Functions - Analyzes and translates 3rd party prescriber data to IQVIA master file conventions. - Resolves "unknown" entries by researching through internal references such as phone number reference tool or through external research by calling the physician’s office directly or through researching through other external sources. - Ensures new data should result in a change to the existing database. - Escalates issues to team leader to take corrective action. - Performs verification routines for translated data. - Corrects any misinterpretations before release to the IQVIA Core. - Assures that all translating procedures have been followed. - Coordinates and monitors incoming data source. - Interprets and enters promotional and medical data from reporting booklets supplied by IPS panel members as specified by IPS coding requirements. **Qualifications**: - High School Diploma or equivalent Req - 1-2 years medical coding experience. Req - Strong PC literacy skills, including Word, Excel, Access, with an understanding of relational databases. - Fluency in medical terminology, pharmaceutical products and their indications, and dosage information. - Thorough understanding of client deliverables that are based on the prescriber database in order to properly interpret prescriber information. - Analytical and organizational skills, strong communication skills, research skills. - Detail oriented. - Ability to analyze and interpret some medical information.
