Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist

Position: Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist

Experience: 2 to 3 years

Location: Puducherry

Job Overview:
Key Responsibilities:

- Develop, document, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Perform manual and automated testing to ensure product quality and functionality.
- Identify, record, and track defects and issues using appropriate tools.
- Collaborate with development and product teams to understand project requirements and specifications.
- Analyze test results and provide detailed reports on product quality and performance.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and best practices.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 2 to 3 years of experience in quality assurance or a similar role.
- Proficiency in manual and automated testing techniques.
- Experience with QA tools and bug tracking systems (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality standards.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience with test automation frameworks and scripting languages.
- Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
- Familiarity with performance and security testing.
