IDC Global Pvt Ltd is headquartered in Bangalore, India, and is a company originally established in 2016. As part of its portfolio of brands, the company has multiple brands namely, Magari, Yavanika & Treelight Design.
Magari & Yavanika are currently present in Bangalore and Hyderabad with each store being over 10,000 sqft and are going to continue to expand its presence across the country. Magari currently retails Furniture, Kitchens & Wardrobes and also has Fabric & Furnishings in its stores retailed under the name of Yavanika.
Treelight Design is amongst the leading Architecture & Interior Design firms in the country who's projects range across residential, commercial, hospitality, F&B and retail.
**Designation**: Executive - Logistics
**Reports to**: Assistant Manager - Logistics
**Job Summary**:
The Dispatch & Logistics Coordinator is responsible for overseeing all dispatch operations from the IDC Central Warehouse, coordinating with logistics vendors, and ensuring timely and efficient delivery of furniture products. This role works under the guidance of the Logistics Assistant Manager, providing support in dispatch planning, site feasibility assessments, and overall logistics coordination.
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Support to Manager - Logistics**:
1. Assist the Logistics Assistant Manager in planning, coordinating, and executing all dispatch and logistics activities.
2. Provide regular reports and updates on dispatch schedules, delays, and operational challenges.
3. Work closely with the Logistics Assistant Manager to optimize processes, reduce costs, and improve efficiency.
**Dispatch & Logistics Management**:
4. Oversee all dispatch operations from the IDC Central Warehouse, ensuring timely and efficient movement of goods.
5. Liaise with logistics vendors and schedule dispatches according to priorities set with the supply chain team.
6. Plan and report dispatch schedules in coordination with the supply chain and warehousing teams.
7. Ensure all deliveries meet company standards, minimizing damages and delays.
8. Communicate any delivery delays or issues promptly to the Logistics Assistant Manager and supply chain team.
9. Maintain and update daily trackers related to inventory readiness and goods movement.
**Site Visits & Feasibility Assessments**:
10. Conduct site visits at client locations to assess conditions for delivery and installation of furniture products.
11. Identify potential challenges such as access restrictions, elevator/lift availability, and space constraints.
12. Work with internal teams and on-site teams to ensure delivery feasibility and propose solutions.
13. Provide recommendations for alternative delivery approaches when site conditions are challenging.
**Collaboration & Coordination**:
14. Coordinate with warehousing and supply chain teams to streamline goods movement and inventory readiness.
15. Ensure proper documentation and compliance with company policies for all dispatches. 16. Support the Logistics Assistant Manager in analyzing and improving dispatch efficiency.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
