Waitress/hostess

**Responsibilities**:

- Greet customers warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables.
- Present menus and explain daily specials to customers.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders from customers and input them into the POS system.
- Relay orders to the kitchen staff and ensure prompt delivery of food and drinks to tables.
- Check on customers during their meals to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns or requests.
- Anticipate customer needs and provide attentive service throughout their dining experience.
- Prepare and serve beverages, such as coffee, tea, and soft drinks, as well as alcoholic beverages where applicable.
- Clear tables and clean dining area between customers, ensuring tables are properly set for incoming guests.
- Process payments accurately and efficiently, including handling cash and processing credit card transactions.
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth and efficient service.
- Assist with cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing work areas.
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a clean and safe environment for customers and staff.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude while working under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Attend staff meetings and training sessions as required.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience as a waitress or in a similar customer service role preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order-taking and delivering orders.
- Knowledge of menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift trays of food and beverages.
- Positive attitude and willingness to provide exceptional customer service.
- Must adhere to grooming and uniform standards.
- Must be of legal working age and possess any required certifications for food service in your region.

**Salary**: ₹15,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
