The Infrastructure SRE will engage with the Forcepoint teams to promote a culture of Site Reliability Engineering and DevOp strategies in Forcepoint’s infrastructure. Key areas for this role will include CI/CD, Network architecture and design, Observability and KPIs, analytics, capacity, and automation.

Infrastructure SRE
- Support the team in managing performance efforts in collaboration with technical owners.
- Support stakeholders in understanding their systems operations on their business roadmap and budgeted forecast.
- Engage in monitoring systems operations to help to detect, investigate, and escalate anomalies and unplanned spikes.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD methodology and framework that bakes in security for the DevOps teams.
- Develop and build a library of "Infrastructure as Code" using tools like Terraform.
- Analyze, report, and automate the production of meaningful insights from large raw datasets, monitoring and performance metrics.
- Collaborate with teams to optimize and track system utilization to define and execute relevant strategies to improve product performance.
- Design, develop, maintain, and automate controls and configurations to provide detailed automations across the infrastructure landscape.
- Evaluate and investigate data patterns to derive insightful knowledge that can inform strategic and operational decisions.
- Participate in architectural and design reviews providing insights to help create future development.
- Participate in automating, integrating, and maturing the infrastructure team's processes and data.

**Qualifications**:

- Strong understanding of cloud-based architecture and cloud operations. Hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services and/or equivalent public cloud technology
- Experience in administration/build/management of Linux systems
- Foundational understanding of Infrastructure and Platform Technology stacks
- Strong understanding of Networking concepts and theories, such as different protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, routing protocols, etc), VLAN configuration, DNS, OSI layers, and load balancing
- Understanding of security architecture and certificate management
- Working knowledge of Infrastructure and Application monitoring platforms such as Grafana Cloud, Solarwinds, NewRelic, DataDog etc.
- Working knowledge of Incident Response and Alerting platforms such as PagerDuty, Opsgenie, XMatters etc.
- Understanding of the core DevOps practices (CI/CD pipeline, release management etc.)
- Demonstrated ability to be engaged with large scale, highly visible programs.
- Work with the team to ensure automation and the highest level of determinism possible in the installation, configuration, and modification of new systems (software and hardware).
- Ability to properly structure, model and visualize platform data to support decision making.
- Do deep dives into operational models to further dissect issues or identify opportunities.
- Ability to navigate, cleanse and integrate raw data to develop dynamic dashboards using data analytics and tools
