**Role Overview**

Cogoport is currently looking for an individual who has the mindset of an entrepreneur, understanding of the culture, with a passion for data operations to join our team. We are looking for executives in the supply management team who would be responsible for procuring rates and managing negotiations with suppliers of Cogoport.

**Responsibilities**
- Connect with local and international suppliers to procure rates and rate sheets for Ocean and Air shipments.
- Maintain strong contact/relationships with local and global suppliers to handle any booking/space related escalations.
- Manage correct Sailing schedules for the different services such as Ocean Shipping, Air Freight etc.
- Communicate with stakeholders across functions to clarify doubts in order to maintain data accuracy.
- For Team Leads - Suggest and recommend changes needed in the product to optimize the rate management process.

**Skills and Qualifications**
- Educational Background: Minimum graduate/diploma in any stream.
- Work Experience: Having 0-3 years of experience in a similar role in logistics or any industry.

**Must Have Skills**:

- Excellent verbal and written skills.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills to be able to coordinate well with various internal and external stakeholders.

**Things that make a difference**:

- Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment, working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
- Multi-tasker who can work with little supervision with a high attention to detail.
- Above-average time management and organizational skills.
- Able to use basic functions of MS Excel, and MS Word.
