**About us**:
**Position overview**:
The Legal Executive will be responsible for managing and overseeing the organization’s legal agreements, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations, developing and updating company policies and procedures, and conducting thorough legal research. The individual will play a pivotal role in minimizing legal risks and supporting the organization’s overall legal needs.

**Responsibilities**:

- Monitor and ensure the organization’s compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Develop, implement, and maintain compliance programs to address regulatory requirements.
- Maintain and update a centralized contract database, monitor contract timelines, and ensure timely renewals.
- Assist in the creation and revision of internal policies and procedures, ensuring they comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct in-depth legal research on relevant laws, regulations, case laws, and legal precedents.
- Assist in managing legal disputes, including preparing responses, coordinating with external legal counsel, and organizing case documentation.
- Identify potential legal risks associated with company operations and contracts, providing proactive advice to mitigate these risks.
- Assist in maintaining the company’s corporate governance framework, ensuring compliance with legal requirements for board and shareholder resolutions.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) or equivalent qualification. Advanced degrees or certifications in corporate law, compliance, or contract management are advantageous.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a legal role, ideally within a corporate environment.
- Strong understanding of contract law, corporate law, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proactive in identifying potential legal issues and providing practical solutions.
