Responsible for maintenance of the hostels premises.
- Looks after the quality of food served in the hostels.
- Keeps strict discipline among students of the hostels.
- Reports to the Director in case of any indiscipline or misbehaviour by the students.
- Looks into the grievances/complaints of the students if found genuine.
- Arranges for first-aid in case of any emergency and arrange for hospitalization of student/staff, if required.
- To ensure maintenance of discipline in and around the Hostel
- To ensure that no ragging takes place in the hostels and maintain a ragging free Hostel.
- To ensure housekeeping and cleaning of the premises
- Ensure no damage to the hostel furniture and fittings and timely repair and maintenance of the hostel block
- Responsible for addressing medical/social and personal emergencies of all students.
- Accompany students to the hospital in case of serious illness or injury.
- Be a point of contact with parents, who are kept informed by reports and informal contact
- To issue Outstation form” to students who are going home etc. Collect the filled up form and hence maintain a record of the absence of the students from the campus
- To ensure that the Block wardens/Supervisors are reporting in time and doing the assigned duties
- Will check the resident students’ register. The Warden is authorized to take disciplinary action against a boarder for keeping any unauthorized guest.
- Will be responsible for the overall security of the hostel and will coordinate his/her responsibility with the Security Officer of the University. Will periodically verify the furniture and fittings of the hostel with the assistance of the Office Assistant, and take action for their repairs/replacement or for obtaining additional furniture.
- With the assistance of the Mess Committee, S/He will supervise the functioning of the mess and the working of the Mess Managers/Supervisors, Cooks and Helpers under his/her charge. Will keep a watch over the cleanliness of the dining hall and the kitchen and of the food prepared.
- Will conduct regular inspection of the kitchen room and the dining hall, especially when the residents take their meals. Will enforce discipline and decorum in the dining hall. Will supervise the system of purchases of mess stores, provision etc.
- Plan for the annual maintenance of Hostel Blocks.
- Maintain Inventory of Hostel Assets.
- Maintain student movement registrars.
- Prepare SOP for resolving student complaints.
- Keep track of team performance.
- Any other responsibilities assigned from time to time.

**Salary**: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
