Electrician

**Job Summary**:
We are seeking a skilled **Electrician** to install, maintain, and repair electrical systems at construction sites and buildings. The Electrician will ensure that all electrical work is carried out safely, efficiently, and in accordance with drawings, standards, and safety codes.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Installation & Maintenance**:

- Install, maintain, and repair **wiring systems, conduits, panels, switches, sockets, lighting fixtures, fans, and distribution boards** as per approved electrical drawings.
- Support the installation of **temporary site power, lighting, and equipment connections**.
- Test and inspect electrical systems for continuity, current, voltage, and resistance using appropriate testing tools.
- Ensure **proper earthing and bonding** in all electrical installations.
- Identify and repair **faults, short circuits, and malfunctioning electrical equipment**.

**Site Coordination & Documentation**:

- Coordinate with the **civil and mechanical teams** to ensure proper electrical conduit and box placements before concreting or finishing.
- Read and interpret **electrical layouts, single-line diagrams (SLDs), and circuit drawings**.
- Maintain **records of daily work, materials used, and testing reports**.

**Safety & Quality Compliance**:

- Adhere strictly to **electrical safety procedures** and ensure all installations meet **IS/IEC standards**.
- Ensure all work is performed using **proper PPE and safety tools**.
- Report unsafe conditions, damaged tools, or potential hazards to the supervisor.

**Teamwork & Supervision**:

- Work under the guidance of the Electrical Foreman / Engineer and assist in supervising **helpers or junior electricians**.
- Ensure proper use, care, and storage of electrical tools and equipment.

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- **Education**: ITI / Diploma in Electrical Trade or equivalent qualification.
- **Experience**: 2-5 years of experience in **electrical installation and maintenance**, preferably in the civil or construction field.
- **Technical Skills**:

- Sound knowledge of **wiring, conduit, lighting, earthing, and panel installation**.
- Familiarity with **testing instruments** (megger, multimeter, etc.).
- Understanding of **electrical drawings and load distribution**.
- **Soft Skills**:

- Ability to work independently and in teams.
- Good communication and reporting skills.
- Attention to detail and commitment to safety.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
