Test Architect with 8-10 years of experience who should be able drive automation needs and help in shaping the modernized Test Strategy by introducing the Quality Engineering Principles (Testability, TDD and Quality into every step of the SDLC).
- Able to design Automation Test Strategy aligned to IT strategy and quality standards.
- Able to demonstrate the holistic approach of testing with automation-first mindset.
- Drive change and continuous improvement in testing approaches, practices, and techniques to help design and deliver the overall agile testing methodology.
- Able to demonstrate experience of working on transforming a testing practice, ideally in a “shift-left” manner.
- Inspire, mentor and coach to bring out the very best in Customer and Data team to improve quality
- Be comfortable having technical conversations with the wider technology teams.
- Stay up to speed on tools, process, practice, and technology developments to ensure they are brought in-house and enhance the solutions applied to the testing problems.
- Be active member of the internal Test Communities to share knowledge and build out the capabilities.
- Must have experience of working both on agile and traditional development methodologies, using a value-driven approach
- Must “live and breathe” Quality and Testing, being able to articulate and demonstrate the value of good quality.
- Should have up-to-date Testing industry knowledge and ability to bring new ways of working in-house to improve the output
- Should have strong ability to coach/mentor testing and non-testing colleagues to improve test practices.
- Should have a solid understanding of Non-Functional testing practices such as Security, Performance and Accessibility Testing
- Should have ability to build strong relationships and influence decisions with internal and external stakeholders.
- Should be familiar with patterns, practices, and frameworks of Test Automation Architecture.
